ABOUT US.
Neurology Pain and Spine Centers of Michigan (NPSCM), located in Lapeer, Michigan, provides compassionate and comprehensive care to patients suffering from neurological disorder, spine, acute and chronic pain. No matter what cause of your disorder we will work to determine the underlying source and provide innovative treatments that are effective.

The team welcomes people aged 16 and up, managing complicated cases. Many people visit NPSCM via physician referrals, but anyone may contact the office to see if they can benefit from the team’s care.

Patients seek NPSCM for their expertise in alleviating all forms of neurological disorder, pain and spinal conditions. The team also specializes in pain caused by sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

The experienced physicians spend time with each person, learning about their concerns and symptoms. Then they perform comprehensive diagnostic imaging and other tests such as CT, MRI, advanced imaging and lab testing to diagnose the cause of each patient’s condition accurately. After explaining all treatment options, they work together with each patient to create a customized treatment plan.

NPSCM has extensive pain management experience in a wide array of innovative therapies, including (but not limited to) bursa injections, facet injections, rhizotomy, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, and other more advanced therapies. They also perform stellate ganglion blocks, sympathetic nerve blocks, and offer other advanced innovative treatments.

Mr. Kocenda is considered to be one of the top neuro-spine advanced practice providers in Michigan.
Mr. Kocenda specialized in Physical & Rehabilitative medicine (PM&R) and pain management while working with one of the Cleveland Clinic’s premier spine and pain programs, the Spine and Pain Institute (SPI).

Martin Quiroga, DO, MBA
Martin Quiroga, DO, MBA, is a board-certified physician and the founder of Michigan Advanced Pain & Spine, located in Warren, Michigan. His mission is to relieve pain and restore function so his patients can experience an improved quality of life.

Dr. Quiroga is trained in both general surgery and pain management and has extensive training in advanced interventional treatments for alleviating multiple causes. He excels at managing complicated cases and injuries that other treatments have failed to remedy.
​
Dr. Quiroga's key to success is gathering all of the requisite information so that he can make an accurate diagnosis. This allows him to offer a wide range of therapeutic options, including procedures and treatments using state-of-the-art technologies and the latest advanced techniques to provide meaningful and lasting benefits. He takes every precaution and utilizes every method available to find treatments that are tailored to suit individual needs.
